2 November 2025 - We’re excited to announce the release of Rapid4Cloud Platform version 2.20.0!
This update focuses on stronger security, smarter scheduling, and major performance enhancements across the Rapid4Cloud suite — ensuring a faster, safer, and more efficient automation experience for Oracle Fusion Cloud users.
Key Updates in Version 2.20.0
Stronger Connection Controls for COPY, ROLLOUT, CHANGE, and RAPIDUpgrade
To prevent configuration errors, the platform now blocks job submissions when BIP and APP connections come from different hostnames.
Additionally, file uploads (BR100, BUCC, or validation uploads) are now automatically blocked if one or more connections are invalid, requiring users to resolve connection issues first.

Replay video option replaces “Video” for clearer customization control.
- New modules added: Procurement – Sourcing and Procurement – Supplier Portal.
- Oracle version tags now appear in template filenames for easier traceability.
- Enhanced Redwood compatibility: Improved fillFieldAndSelect actions and automatic handling of “Matching Organizations” popups during customer creation.
- New Scheduler feature: You can now delay or schedule RAPIDTest jobs for future execution, giving more flexibility for off-hour test automation.
- Improved test reports: Screenshots, variable names, and values are now captured for all scenario statuses — providing more visibility and faster debugging.
Advanced File Encryption for Greater Security
Rapid4Cloud now encrypts files automatically before upload, using a combination of symmetric and asymmetric encryption through the Web Crypto API.
This new process is fully transparent and compatible with all modern browsers — adding an extra layer of protection for sensitive configuration data.
