Rollout for Oracle Cloud ERP.
Rollout new business units modeled on your existing IP within hours.
Setting up new business units based on an existing line of business suddenly became very easy. Rollout will extract and analyze an existing business unit and produce a global master template with a questionnaire of all the setups that must be changed to be able to successfully setup more business units.
Enables you to select a business unit from an Oracle instance to be the model for one or more new business units.
Rollout will then analyze those setups, produce a global master template and a questionnaire containing the questions/parameters that must be changed to successfully create a new business unit.
Select an existing business unit and the extract and analyze phase will produce a global master template.
This global master template will be the basis of the standards your organization wishes to ensure that all future business units will use. This template can be externalized in both HTML and Excel format enabling you to make further changes to reflect the standards the business needs.
Once the extract and analyze phases completed you will receive a notification.
You can create different global master templates and use the appropriate line of business template for the new business unit or simply perform the extract and analyze phase for each business unit.
The global master template can be tweaked and changed for each business unit.
The questionnaire reflects the personalization’s that need to be effected upon the master template for the new business unit.
Country Localizations: Oracle are providing more and more localizations for each country. They still need setups however to make them work. These setups can be attached to the personalized business unit setups before loading to the Oracle instance.
Once you have completed the questionnaire and any modifications needed to the global master template you can use the upload feature which will trigger the personalize and load phase.
To proceed to this step the questionnaire as a minimum must be uploaded.
The questionnaire will then be applied to the appropriate global master template thus producing a set of personalized setups which will then proceed to be loaded.
Errors can still occur as every Oracle validation is triggered upon loading this data. If an error occurs then if an alternative value exists, there is no dependency on the remaining setups and the value can be changed later, the system will provide details of the error and change and proceed with the new value.
