Purpose of the Role
To drive new business sales for Rapid4Cloud across the designated territory. This is a new business sales role however the sales executive will be responsible for managing accounts that are ‘won’ as part of the new business sale. Thus the role will adapt over time, to become a mix of account management and new business sales. The role will be new business only for the first year.

Rapid4Cloud are an Oracle Gold Partner providing the ONLY automated solutions for the implementation, management and maintenance of Oracle Application products. Our Tools & Services help Oracle Partner and End User Customers manage various aspects of the Oracle Applications Life-cycle – from conception, through design, build and implementation, to service and maintenance. Our tools add value to both Oracle Fusion Cloud and eBusiness Suite environments.
Founded in 2003, the company’s product is built upon two key principles: Automation and Simplicity.
We provide innovative, easy to use software solutions for the setup, maintenance and transition of Oracle ERP, HCM and CRM and SCM systems.
These roles have come about as a result of high levels of market interest and to support the growth expectations of senior management. The roles report to the global Commercial Leader and are quota carrying.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales quota as defined by the company leadership
- Develop sales opportunities in defined territory
- Work with all aspects of the Rapid4Cloud organisation (Consulting, Operational, & Social Media teams) to build pipeline, manage opportunities and win business
- Present to prospective customers the Rapid4Cloud value proposition, using the wider Rapid4Cloud team as appropriate.
- Provide accurate, complete and timely reporting on prospect and opportunity progress, as and when required
- Manage accounts (won through new business sales) for contract renewal and managed growth
- Build, maintain and nourish key relationships with customers
- Be the advocate and spokesperson for Rapid4Cloud in the territory
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
Key Skills
- Must be a strong communicator and be able to listen to customer needs, and articulate the benefits of the Rapid4Cloud solution
- Must be a team player and capable of being held individual accountable for the territory running to sales budget
- Ability to sell Software and Services sales preferably with an Oracle Applications track record
- Must be conversant in preparing and delivering presentations, quotations and proposals
- Be able to research the needs of potential customers and appreciate how the Rapid4Cloud tools can deliver value.
- Be able to manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through to close.
- As these are the first sales executives in territory, it is imperative that candidates can evidence excellent time management and organisational skills and have the necessary skill to operate independently in the territory
Education & Experience
- Educated to degree standard is preferred
- Minimum 5 Years experience of enterprise software and/or services sales.
- Ideally this would involve Oracle eBusiness Suite or Fusion Cloud Experience
- Consistent proven track record of annual quota achievement

What we need
An extraordinary Jedi-Master-like Java Programmer with at least 3-5 years of experience. Exposure to RPA and AI will make you more desirable.
Main programming language is Java but it would be nice if you have knowledge in other technologies such as Selenium, C, SQL, Python, HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, CSS.
Has thorough understanding of component-based software architecture and best practices. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud is highly desired.
With solid execution of agile methodology and can easily write technical documentation.
